This year, you can only apply for accreditation for IFA Berlin online. Click here to go directly to the online accreditation. On-site accreditation is not possible. The press badge is valid from August 31 to September 6. Admission is possible from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. With your press badge you have access to all event formats of IFA 2022.
Arrival on August 31
Note on arriving by public transport or car: due to a bomb disposal in Grunewald at the Grunewald bomb disposal site, there will be disruptions to public transport and car traffic between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on August 31. We recommend that you travel to Messe Nord/ICC by public transport on lines S41, S42 and S46.
Entrance for media representatives to the Media Days is via the entrance to Hall 20/21 (near Theodor-Heuss-Platz).

We recommend arriving by public transport, as parking spaces are only available in small numbers. Here you will find more information on how to get to the IFA grounds.
Parking spaces are available in front of Hall 17 (P3). A limited number of press parking permits are available for accredited journalists. Please contact the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cloakrooms are located at the North Entrance and the City Cube East Entrance (Messedamm) and, from September 4, also at the Hall 9 Entrance. You can use these free of charge upon presentation of your press badge. During the IFA Media Days, an additional cloakroom will be available in the entrance area of Hall 20/21.
At the exhibition grounds you can use several shuttle lines, here you will find an overview of the lines.
IFA Media Center
The Media Center is located in Hall 6.3. Journalists' workstations are available in the IFA Media Center. Please remember to bring your own work laptop - WLAN is available here free of charge. The press bar in the IFA Media Center will provide you with cold and warm drinks as well as snacks.
During IFA and in the run-up to the IFA Media Days, numerous press events are planned where exhibitors will present themselves and their products. Click here for an overview of the press events.
The IFA Opening Press Conference will take place on August 31 at 1 p.m. in Hall 23.
Questions can be submitted via Slido during the Q&A following the press conference. Please include your name and the editorial department you work for.

The IFA Opening Tour will begin on September 2 at 9:45 a.m. at the North Entrance.
On September 2 and 3, international CEOs will speak at the IFA Keynotes in the Convention Area in Hall 23, on the top issues shaping the digital world. Journalists will be admitted 30 minutes before the event.

Press photos and videos
Here you can access the image database, where you will find a selection of images from IFA 2022 that can be used for editorial reporting. You will find additional photo material in the IFA Photo Archive.
In the IFA Global Broadcast Center, footage material for reporting from IFA 2022 is available to you free of charge and rights-free.
The live event is complemented by a digital platform. IFA Virtual gives you the opportunity to meet IFA Berlin exhibitors, network and get a first look at the extensive programme. Registration is free of charge.
The IFA keynotes will be streamed live on IFA Virtual. The convention formats on the exhibition grounds will each be available for viewing as video-on-demand on the platform one day later. These include the IFA NEXT Innovation Engine programme, the IFA+ Summit and the SHIFT Mobility conference.

Tickets & Services
Purchase your tickets for IFA online well in advance. There will be no ticket sales on site and no registration desks at the entrances.
